About us
My name is Lee Osgood and I am the trainer and behaviourist here at Able Canines. I have diplomas in both dog training and canine psychology. I have a golden retriever and a labrador at home and my love for dogs extends to all shapes, sizes and breeds. I have had dogs in my life for a long time now and cannot imagine life without them. My background is in health and social care and I have worked with people from all walks of life with all manor of issues and disabilities. I wanted to work with dogs for many years and have experienced all kinds of training with my own dogs before I qualified and started training myself. I believe that every dog should be given a chance to be happy in life and with the right help and advice I believe all dogs can achieve this, many dogs these days are euthanized because of issues with behaviour that people are not willing or unable to address, this is a great shame and a tragedy as many of these dogs could be rehabilitated with the right approach and understanding. I am very approachable and happy to help so if you are not sure if we could help you then give me a call and I will be happy to give you some friendly advice.
My name is Sarah Osgood and I am Lee's wife. Although at this time I do not work directly with Training and Behaviour issues with the pooches, I work behind the scenes supporting Lee with marketing, business management and general administration.
My background is also Social care, and I hope in the future to work towards qualifications enabling me to work directly with the dogs. If there is anything I can help you with please contact me at sarahosgood@ablecanines.co.uk .
